Stefanie Gatica, DNP, FNP-C has been in the medical field for more than 3 decades in a variety of settings, including the emergency room, urgent care, pediatrics, aesthetics, and dermatology.
Stefanie has earned many college degrees, starting with a BA in Spanish from the University of Northern Iowa, Stefanie worked as a CNA in a nursing home. This experience really molded her passion to treat patients as family members, and that carries on today.
Stefanie decided to go into nursing and went to DMACC to earn her ADN. She worked for years at Broadlawns Medical Center. After obtaining her BSN, and MSN Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Graceland University, she continued her education at the University of Alabama, where she received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.
While a registered nurse, Stefanie attended her first aesthetics course taught by world renown Sasha Parker.
A a FNP, Stefanie was fortunate to receive a 3-month dermatology residency in West Des Moines with a prominent dermatologist. She then managed a medical and cosmetic dermatology clinic in Beaverdale for more than 7 years, where she was the sole provider. She has been doing aesthetic injections for 20 years, and frequently served as a dermatology preceptor for the Des Moines University, and for various NP programs during those years.
After leaving a robust practice to spend more time with her family, Stefanie Gatica, DNP began to teach online for a large FNP Program. There, she soon moved up to the Family Nurse Practitioner Program Coordinator position. As she has decided to focus on Revive, she no longer works for the university. Today, Stefanie Gatica, DNP brings a wealth of experience to Revive, where she dedicates her time to teaching others and creating the refined results her clients want.
When she isn’t working with clients, Stefanie Gatica, DNP, spends her time training injectors at Revive, as well as traveling to many different states to train others. She is often sought after to be a guest trainer.
She is one of only two Allergan trainers in the state of Iowa, and the only Sciton Luminary Trainer in the state of Iowa.

She has been married for 32 years and enjoys traveling throughout the USA and to other countries. She also enjoys watching sports and spending time with her family, friends, and dogs.
