Lauren King, BSN

Lauren King has been a nurse for 12 years, focusing on medical aesthetics full time at Revive for the last two years. Previously, she was a nurse in the Blank Emergency Department for 10 years.

Lauren ran track for the University of Northern Iowa where she competed in the Heptathlon and earned all MVC Honors. She continued her education at Allen College where she earned her Bachelor’s in Nursing Science.

Lauren began her medical aesthetics journey first as a patient, then as a brand ambassador, then as an intern under Stefanie Gatica DNP. Lauren has attended and completed multiple trainings and seminars from the nation’s most prestigious medical aesthetic providers. She has a passion for continued education in order to provide the safest, most up to date techniques for every area of medical aesthetics. Her favorite services to offer are: full face rejuvenation with filler and neurotoxin, Sciton Laser Stax, and weight management with GLP-1 medications. Lauren is certified in MicroTox®️, NasalTox®️, TheraTox™️, and ArqueDerma®️.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband of 10 years and her 3 children. Lauren enjoys running and has completed multiple half marathons as well as 3 marathons. She has transitioned her passion for track and field to a coaching role, being the hurdles coach for Ankeny Track and Field Club. Lauren and her husband also love exploring the food scene, with their favorite local spot being the Stuffed Olive. She also enjoys attending concerts, watching NASCAR races, and cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.

Amber Remsburg is the absolute best! She's super knowledgeable about what she's doing. She'll learn your skin type and recommend products that will work for you. Could not recommend her enough! She's also an amazing listener if you just need a vent session. Ask for Amber if you come here!

Had my first Hydrafacial, and I’m hooked! Ali was super detailed and welcoming, making the whole experience comfortable. My skin feels cleaner, smoother. Highly recommend for anyone, especially if you’re new to facials!

If you’re a guy like me who’s been hesitant about facials, I highly recommend trying a Hydrafacial. You won’t regret it!

I had my 1st appointment with Amber yesterday. She assessed my skin and recommended a skincare line to address my needs. We also discussed different procedures that fit my budget. I would definitely recommend going to Amber, I look forward to my next appointment with her!

I had an appointment with Dr. Stef for a dermatology check and biopsy. Great office staff, super sweet nurse, and a terrific doctor who not only took her time to explain everything before, during, and after the biopsy appointment, but followed up when she said she would. She even spent about 15 minutes on the phone with me to explain the results to make sure I completely understand everything. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. I will definitely return to Revive and recommend Dr. Stef to all my friends. Best office ever!!!!!!!

Stef Gatica and team are the best in the metro. From cosmetic procedures to more medical issues like acne, rashes, mole removals, painful dry skin, etc... her team has treated my entire family over the years and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Never satisfied with subpar results, they will continue to encourage and adjust treatment plans until the issue has resolved.
