How Does PRP Work?

PRP therapy works in 3 steps:

  1. Your experienced provider draws a small sample of blood from your arm, just like they would for a routine lab test.
  2. A centrifuge separates and purifies the plasma, also known as “liquid gold.”
  3. Your provider applies it to your skin or injects it into your face or scalp, depending on your treatment plan.

Because the plasma is taken from your own body, there’s no chance of an allergic reaction.

What Does PRP Treat?

Facial Treatments

A PRP microneedling facial stimulates collagen production in your skin to treat: Fine lines, Laxity, Uneven texture, Scarring

PRP is an excellent addition to microneedling, which helps the PRP absorb more deeply into the skin and encourages faster and more effective healing.

Hair Restoration

When injected into the scalp, PRP’s growth factors encourage new hair growth for a fuller, healthier head of hair.

PRP Body Treatments

To improve skin laxity, PRP can be injected into the neck, chest (décolleté) and many other areas.

Tear Trough Treatments With PRP

Tear troughs can be a tricky area to treat and many patients report their favorite treatment in this area is with PRP and a very small amount of dermal filler. Three treatments are generally needed for an improvement of skin integrity and a reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.

GlowTox

Eye Treatment or Full Face– Using a combination of PRP, Botox, hyaluronic acid and other skin boosters, a small microneedling chamber is used around the eye area to improve skin integrity, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and give an overall glow. A numbing cream is applied to the area. A series of 3 treatments is recommended.

When Will I See Results After a PRP Treatment?

Some people may see results within a week, but it may take between 1 and 3 months to see the full effects of your treatment. Most people need about 3 sessions spaced a month or so apart to see the most dramatic results.

I had an appointment with Dr. Stef for a dermatology check and biopsy. Great office staff, super sweet nurse, and a terrific doctor who not only took her time to explain everything before, during, and after the biopsy appointment, but followed up when she said she would. She even spent about 15 minutes on the phone with me to explain the results to make sure I completely understand everything. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. I will definitely return to Revive and recommend Dr. Stef to all my friends. Best office ever!!!!!!!

Stef Gatica and team are the best in the metro. From cosmetic procedures to more medical issues like acne, rashes, mole removals, painful dry skin, etc... her team has treated my entire family over the years and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Never satisfied with subpar results, they will continue to encourage and adjust treatment plans until the issue has resolved.
