How Does PRP Work?
PRP therapy works in 3 steps:
- Your experienced provider draws a small sample of blood from your arm, just like they would for a routine lab test.
- A centrifuge separates and purifies the plasma, also known as “liquid gold.”
- Your provider applies it to your skin or injects it into your face or scalp, depending on your treatment plan.
Because the plasma is taken from your own body, there’s no chance of an allergic reaction.

What Does PRP Treat?
PRP has many different cosmetic applications for both the skin and hair.
Facial Treatments
A PRP microneedling facial stimulates collagen production in your skin to treat:

PRP is an excellent addition to microneedling, which helps the PRP absorb more deeply into the skin and encourages faster and more effective healing.
Hair Restoration

Tear Trough Treatments With PRP
Tear troughs can be a tricky area to treat and many patients reports their favorite treatment in this area is with PRP and a very small amount of dermal filler. 3 treatments are generally needed for an improvement of skin integrity and a reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.
PRP Body Treatments
To improve skin laxity, PRP can be injected into the neck, chest (décolleté) and many other areas.
GlowTox
Eye Treatment or Full Face– Using a combination of PRP, Botox, hyaluronic acid and other skin boosters, a small microneedling chamber is used around the eye area to improve skin integrity, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and give an overall glow. A numbing cream is applied to the area. A series of 3 treatments is recommended.
When Will I See Results After a PRP Treatment?
Some people may see results within a week, but it may take between 1 and 3 months to see the full effects of your treatment. Most people need about 3 sessions spaced a month or so apart to see the most dramatic results.
